SKUDO 3 ELECTRONIC MASK

The new SKUDO 3 helmet represents the pinnacle of performance in the Oxyturbo LCD helmet range. It offers extremely high darkening sensitivity thanks to four sensors on the LCD filter that detect even the weakest light sources, such as those emitted by a 3-amp TIG torch, a plasma welding torch, or even an oxyacetylene torch. In addition to its bold, sporty design that makes it more comfortable for operators to wear, the Skudo 3 helmet offers a wide range of adjustments to suit each welder's style. Oxyturbo has opted for potentiometer adjustments rather than digital buttons, as potentiometer adjustments are by far the most immediate and simplest to make, even while wearing gloves. Another feature that is often overlooked but is very important is the degree of darkness when the mask is clear (i.e. while not welding). The Skudo3 has a DIN3 degree of darkness, which is so low that it makes it practically perfectly transparent, while many other masks on the market report a DIN4. If the mask is very clear, the operator will tend to keep it on even during other operations such as grinding, avoiding lifting or removing it to see better, thus exposing himself to risks
